As I sit here writing this, my heart is filled with immense joy and gratitude. Just three years ago my friend and business partner Tris approached me with the idea of doing an Adele tribute. I love doing singer impressions, but I had never tried to sing like Adele. I had been a fan of her music for years, and it felt like a pretty steep challenge given how well-loved her music is. But Tris had faith in me (more faith than I had in myself at the time) and we decided to give it a go...

I gotta say, if you're reading this and you were at this show, you all set the bar incredibly high!
This is still one of my absolute favorite shows we've done ♥️
Fast forward to present day - we're now a nationally touring act and growing our fan base with every performance. My heart swells with every person I meet after each show. From kids to grandparents, from those who simply love the vocals to those who are in tears because of how the songs made them feel...words cannot fully describe how much all of this means to me. This is why we do what we do. As far as I'm concerned, if we don't move people in some way, then we're not doing our job. And you all have made it abundantly clear that we're doing at least a decent job of accomplishing that. This show has proven the power and timelessness of Adele's music, and I am honored to be able to bring it to life for you.
For all of the fans that have come out to see us these past two years - we love you!
As I write this, I'm 7 months pregnant. We are done with our shows for the year so I can prepare for this next chapter of my life. I have to take this moment to give a shout-out to my absolutely incredible band. Behind the scenes, I do a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with being Adele - I drive the cargo van that holds the piano shell, I load up all of the merchandise along with my own gear, I have bits and bobs that need to make it onstage for the show, among many other little things (and THEN I have to go get ready for the actual show). To be honest, the setup for our show is far more stressful than the show itself, ha! But especially in these last few months, my band stepped up even more. They helped me carry my things to the stage and to the dressing room. They loaded up all my gear in the van after the show. They helped with my luggage when we were traveling. They checked in on me to see how I was feeling. I'm the type of person who usually hates asking for help, but in these moments, I deeply appreciated it. I could not be more grateful for these people that I have the privilege share the stage with.

I adore these people. I'm beyond grateful to call them friends and colleagues.

There will be so many life changes and adventures when this little one arrives. There will be sleepless nights and moments of pure joy. The word "adaptation" will likely take on an entirely new meaning. But through all of that, I believe it is important to model for our kids what it means to do something you love. To do the things that bring you joy. For me, singing is one of the greatest joys of my life. So I'm looking forward to returning to this show next year so I can continue to do what I love and share that with my child as well. I also think they'll make a pretty adorable Always, Adele mascot, don't you? 😊
With that, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support. I can't wait to see you all again next year!
All my love,
Sarah Stallman, aka "Adele"
